Kitchen flooring is a big decision. It takes a great deal of abuse and it’s a prime factor in value when it comes time to sell. Consider appearance, price, durability, ease of maintenance and stain resistance:
-Linoleum and vinyl flooring are the most affordable but are seldom the first choice for style and long-term value.
-Ceramic, porcelain and stone tiles – either synthetic or natural – continue to be popular at a slightly higher price.
-Laminated or hardwood floors offer timeless appeal and warmth. Synthetic wood is easy to install and offers many choices. Wood flooring offers universal appeal and value. There are also many green options available now too.
Your kitchen is one of the most important rooms in your home. Why not add fresh new flooring and other updates to enjoy, and that will return their value when you resell. I have plenty of other ideas to enhance your home’s value. Contact me at Monica@MonicaLeitch.com or 812-639-7162.
